Susan Baier

Susan Baier has a bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Park University in Parkville, MO. A native of Kansas City, she was a stay-at-home mom for many years, then began working at Children's Mercy Hospital and served as a patient advocate for several years. After her son became paralyzed, she wrote Trenton, Believe and soon became passionate about spinal cord injury awareness. She is also just as passionate about her family and friends.

Susan's Journey With Personal Chapters

Susan first met Anne Spry with Personal Chapters at a restaurant on the Country Club Plaza to discuss the potential for publishing Trenton Believe. The referral to Personal Chapters originated with a co-worker of Susan's at Children's Mercy...another patient advocate who happened to be Spry's son's mother-in-law.

Susan's story of a mother's nightmare when her child has a debilitating accident tugged at Spry's heartstrings, just as it has with all the readers of Trenton Believe.
